Chrome extension privacy

This policy explains how the Authos Chrome extension handles data when you connect an account to your Authos workspace. It applies to supported staging and production connections. Authority Figures LLC operates Authos. Contact info@authority-figures.com with privacy questions or requests.

Purpose and account connection

The extension synchronizes your connected account with your paired Authos workspace. It supports conversations, posts, and related relationship and engagement records. You need an Authos workspace and access to the account you connect. Available records depend on that account and the features you enable.

Information the extension handles

The extension can read and store account identifiers, names, profile details, profile images and links, professional information, and locations stated in profiles. It can import supported conversations and message text, participants, timestamps, contacts, relationship records, posts, comments, reactions, engagement, and analytics. Synced content can contain information about other people.

It also handles workspace pairing, connection consent, settings, sync checkpoints, request counts, retry state, and diagnostic information needed to operate sync. These records describe the extension's work and supported account activity. It does not request device GPS access or access to your general browsing history.

Sign-in cookies

The extension reads session and request-verification cookies for the connected LinkedIn account in the current Chrome profile. It uses them locally to authenticate requests to LinkedIn and check which account is connected. It does not ask you to enter your LinkedIn password into Authos. Raw LinkedIn sign-in cookies are not sent to Authos. A one-way session fingerprint helps detect session changes.

How information is used

Data supports sync, conversation management, user-requested replies, content and engagement review, and enabled relationship-management features in the paired workspace. Saved checkpoints, request limits, and retry state help resume work and avoid unnecessary repeated requests. Enabled background work can continue while Chrome is running.

Local and hosted storage

The extension stores settings and imported records in the Chrome profile, including a local database called IndexedDB. The extension communicates with the paired Authos dashboard. Supported profile, post, engagement, analytics, and relationship records can be sent to Authos servers. Enabled workspace features can also send selected conversation and message records to Authos. Synced data is therefore not stored only on your device.

Data recipients and service providers

Authenticated account requests go to LinkedIn. Data exchanged with Authos is handled by Authority Figures LLC and the service providers used to operate the connected workspace. Vercel hosts the Authos application. Supabase provides hosted workspace data storage and account services.

If enabled Authos AI features use synced records, relevant message text, profile information, or content context can be sent to OpenRouter and the model provider used for that feature to prepare assessments, drafts, or other requested results. Authos uses OpenAI models for text features and can use Google models for image features. This processing takes place online. The extension itself does not download or execute remote AI code.

Cloudflare hosts this policy and the launch website. It processes the technical requests needed to deliver and protect those pages. Reading this policy does not connect an account or start sync. For launch-site subscriptions and payments, see the launch website privacy notice.

Limited use

Authority Figures LLC does not sell extension user data. It does not transfer that data except for uses permitted by the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy. It does not use or transfer extension data for purposes unrelated to the extension's stated purpose. It does not use or transfer extension data to determine creditworthiness or for lending decisions.

Use of information received through the extension is subject to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Your controls and retained data

You can disconnect the account in Authos to stop connected sync. Disconnecting does not erase previously imported records. Local cached history and sync safety information can remain in the Chrome profile. Removing the extension removes its extension storage under Chrome's normal behavior. Data held separately by the Authos website can remain in that site's browser storage.

Disconnecting, clearing browser data, or removing the extension does not delete records already saved on Authos servers. Contact info@authority-figures.com to request access, correction, or deletion of data held by Authority Figures LLC. Identify the Authos account or workspace concerned. Do not send passwords or session cookies. We will explain any identity checks, retained records, or limits that apply to your request, including records needed for security, support, or legal obligations.

Security

Hosted Authos and LinkedIn connections use HTTPS. The extension checks workspace pairing and the connected account when it handles requests. Local records depend on the protections of your device and Chrome profile. This policy does not claim that the extension adds separate encryption to its local database. Development connections to a local computer are separate from the hosted service.

Policy updates and contact

We will update this page when the handling of extension data changes. The date above identifies the current notice.
